Thanks for the welcome. As busy as my life is thank God for the opportunity to power-down by emerging into the world Mercedes Benz Diesels. As for the 124s, I'll post my experiences as they occur. Thus far I've made the basic repairs such as fuel filters, fuel return lines, o-rings, vaccum lines, etc. The biggest repair at 307k was replacement of the transmission with a $600.00 used one. I also replace the Injection pump with a $300.00 used version. The car now has 321k and is strong as ever. I enjoy driving it..
