I need to have a new windshield installed in my 300D and also new seals for the windshield and rear glass installed in my 240D. My mechanic recommended a guy to do it -- this is his price quote:

$200 for the 300D windshield + installation
$125 each for installing the two seals on the 240D

I already have all of the seals on hand, so they aren't included in these prices.

So, $450 total -- isn't that a bit much?

Also, he's pushing an "A1" windshield. Anyone familiar with that brand?
