I have same issues which I can not seem to get an answers on.

Mine works great, just like an American made autos does. Leave in drive, dead stop, slowly take off and it will go 1st, 2nd, 3rd. It is only when I start off in a rolling stop that it actually start shift pattern in 2nd. Mine is a 72 model, grey market, SLC/107. Excellent and strong. How can we get some answers?
