I have bought new injectors for my n/a 1980 300d and am starting to remove and replace them. However, the 1-1/16 socket that fits the new injectors is too small for the old ones. Everything I have read says that the injectors are the same size on all the 617 engines, and I bought the new ones specifically for my engine number. I don't want to go buy a new socket and yank them just to find out I need different size crush washers, etc. Do I have the wrong injectors?
