I dont know how to check the chain exactly. but i bought the car 1 yr ago with no info on what had been done to it. the odo was stuck at 136000. i put a new/used gauge cluster in it and since i started driving it ive only gone about 500 miles.

what do you mean "degrees of elongation" ?
