Worn Ignition Switch Question - 124
I have one 124 with a very difficult ignition switch. The keys are very worn, and they often slide in wrong or won't turn the ignition switch without some wiggling.
I'm thinking of buying a new key, to see if the key is at least most of the problem. The key is visibly worn, so may be.
On the other hand, if it is the ignition switch, not the key, I'd hate to spend the $50 or so for a new key, since I'd be replacing the ignition anyway.
Has anyone here had experience with an old key and new key, whether this might fix my problem? I'm concerned that if the keys are this worn, so also might be the locks.
