Yes, I think that some bits and pieces will be on opposite sides, as mine is RHD.

I'm quite interested to hear how you get on with the job. When I had the cylinder head off mine a few weeks ago, I noticed some breaking up of the insulation by the temp sensor. So, I'll need to swap the harness soon.

Incidentally, is there a right way and a wrong way to connect this sensor - the plug and socket each have four pins / holes, and it looks like you can put it back any way you like?

Ideally, of course, I should have fitted a new harness there and then, but having just spent a few hundred pounds on the engine, it wasn't the best time to gain agreement to raid the household funds!
