My uncle has a problem with his drivers door assist on his early ('92) 500SE 140 series. The soft closure on all of the other doors and the boot work. The drivers door only works for a little while if you remove the fuse in the boot, wait for a few seconds and then replace it. Where is the problem? With the unit in the door or the central pump?
