The scraper is distinct from a windage tray though many windage trays have scraper technology built into them.

Both windage trays and scrapers are worth running in an engine, even diesel engines.

I know the high performance version of this engine was worked over by Cosworth. Lest someone think Cosworth does not approve of scrapers they came up with an offset to my product for the Evo engine.

I don't have anything against Cosworth -- fantastic firm. I spoke to one of their engineers a couple years ago about their brilliant work in casting technology.
