I found this part somewhat disturbing.

"The GMC said it had received requests for guidance over whether students could “omit parts of the medical curriculum and yet still be allowed to graduate”.

My first thought was, will there be some disclosure forms to go along with that. If I was going to a doctor and parts of his/her medical education had been ommited and yet they were still allowed to graduate med school I'd want to know.
