Would you let these doctors treat you?

Came accros this while reading one of the many papers I read online.

It seems to a case of morals being put ahead of the position. I'm not sure if it's any different to pharmacists refusing to issue the morning after pill.

Maybe the NHS is not the best place for him.

Pharmacists here can decide not to sell the morning after pill. It's ludicrous not to study the effects of alcohol or sexually transmitted diseases. You don't have to down a bottle and screw some whores in class (I think). It's a shame this part had to even be added:
" Dr Abdul Majid Katme, of the Islamic Medical Association, said: “To learn about alcohol, to learn about sexually transmitted disease, to learn about abortion, it gives us more evidence to campaign against it. There is a difference between learning and practising.
“It is obligatory for Muslim doctors and students to learn about everything. The prophet said, ‘Learn about witchcraft, but don’t practise it’.” "

I found this part somewhat disturbing.

"The GMC said it had received requests for guidance over whether students could “omit parts of the medical curriculum and yet still be allowed to graduate”.

My first thought was, will there be some disclosure forms to go along with that. If I was going to a doctor and parts of his/her medical education had been ommited and yet they were still allowed to graduate med school I'd want to know.
