If you get under the car you should be able to see the back side of the mount from behind the frame that it's attached to. From this view, it should be obvious to determine if it "looks new."

This part has a bright gold colored finish and may have a part sticker across the back side of it. Perhaps worth a look?

Sorry, I didn't read your post closely enough to determine that the dealer did the work. Have you asked them about the noise? Maybe find an indy to look at it?
