I cannot believe how well it rides for a car this old and how fast it will go...i've never had a diesel before either so was wondering about acceleration also....MAN, this thing will move!! This is a great forum with a lot of good info so i look forward to talking to you guys in the future.

The 98 and 99 E300 D-T is one of the alltime best combinations of economy, performance and safety in my opinion. I have owned my '98 for 3 years and intend on driving it for many more unless I can snag a CDI for a great price.

Seriously, I could sell mine today for about what I paid for it when I bought it after driving it for 3 years and nearly 50K miles. There are not many other cars you can say that about.
