as far as a visual on the leak...my wife's 300D leaks pretty badly from probably the front crank seal and maybe the oil pan (also the tranny AND the diff cover for good measure). So much so that we have one of those big tin oil pans on the garage floor. But- it only uses maybe a quart in 1500 overall, so its hard to tell on the spot if its a nuisance leak or a dangerous leak. That something only the seller really knows.

I had a miserable ebay experience on my Citroen. I bought a California car, but its a rustbucket and I'm sure the seller knew it. No more long distance transactions for this boy.
