I just sold my 97 Jetta TDi.
I had to if I wanted to get my 89 420SEL (new project car)
I can easily say that my jetta was probably the best car I've ever owned. Not a lick of trouble during it's 4 year 101K mile duration.
I even had the Wetterauer chips in the car for over 80K miles and no blown turbo or head gasket. Great torque & mileage. I will really miss my TDi and I plan to get another one sometime down the road.
I know there is another TDi owner in these forums somewhere....I can't think of who though.
