Really? The ones on my 123 were around $150, made in China, and they tend to wink at oncoming traffic.

The Euro rounds, which probably look the coolest, seem to be the rarest.

Anyway, I have watched prices for these lights, casually over the last few years, and seen them go for prices all over the place. There does seeem to be a lot more competition lately from cheaper sources.

The price for that new lense is remarkably low. My lenses weren't pitted, just the barely noticeable chip/partial bulseye. If it were me I was thinking of using a winshield repair kit to insure it can't become a crack and grow larger. But I really think they'll be just fine, unless they hit something else.

But Ebay is weird! I've seen cars that were virtually identical well preserved original condition go for $3600 - $13k for practically the same thing. I've also seen simmilarly HUGE dicrepancies for comparable examples of Clean Vanagon Westfalias.
