Thanks for the reply! The shop manual is probably a good place to start, unfortunately, I don't have one, I don't even have the car, yet.
I don't really want the car either as it was rear-ended by a truck and is smashed all the way up to the front doors
(I would love it otherwise!).
But, the engine is in fine shape and for $500 I can get the whole thing. Seems like it might be a fairly good deal. Depending on the torque, I have a good application for the engine.
Also, does anyone know how well the injector pump will govern engine speed with a constant "throttle" setting under varying loads? This isn't as important to me as the torque (particularly at 1800 & 2400 RPM) as I can come up with ways to compensate for it.
