If your W123 is shaking down the highway. . .
then you might have a loose flex disc bolt. I thought one of my back wheels was out of balance, so I lived with it for a while. Since I've disconnected the drive shaft from the tranny twice in the past few years, I thought I'd check those bolts. My ride is much smoother now. Check out the pic to see what can happen to your bolt.
