Yeah it should fit. There was a change in the motor and regulator, I think they are different for 81-83ish.

When installing it, line it up with the old bolt holes and marks in the paint. It should have a small chip or scratch where the old bolts were. use that as a starting point and make adjustments from there. Dont forget to use blue loctite.
