Thanks, i had the front cover off and found that the chain had jumped do to previous mechanic crapmanship. i was looking to see if there was another way besides the damper cause i removed it along with the cover that has the markings. thats not the issue anymore because i found that due to it being out of time, a valve is shot and now i need a new head. thanks for the help and if anyone has an engine or head forsale please contact
