Warped disks will give wheel and brake pedal shakes when the brakes are applied.
If you have never done this before, plan on a few hours, as you have to remove the brake caliper and the wheel hub w/bearings to remove the brake rotor.
You should also service or replace the wheel bearings and inner seal. If you replce the bearings, replace the bearing races as well.
You will have to unbolt the rotor from the hub, which can be a PITA since there is blue loctite on the threads.
