I drive a '84 300sd.

I replaced the ODO (all 3) gears earlier today. ODO and tach still not working! when I manuely turn the gears it works! however when I install it, nothing! what gives? this is my 1st time doing this as well.

conincidently, I didnt use any "thread locker" either, all my gears are plastic.


what else can I try?
