I had to bump my mechanical idle up a little bit. Not hard at all, I think the nut is a 6mm IIRC. The stock ELR setting is 4, which when set up with the mechanical idle should give you about 680 +/- rpms. (off the top of my head)
Of course, you are free to choose whatever rpm you like. Mine was shuddering when cold because the ELR would shut off for a second when I let off the gas with a cold engine, and it would bog down to about 480-500. Increasing it a little bit fixed that problem.
