what would you guys say, just would like to hear some opinions and views if id get high mileged w124 and swap eng + tranny, toyota 1 or 2 js sound good, strong, reliable and cheap, has anybody done this before, please post soem pics
Some folks in the far east have done this and think it's great. IIRC - the Philippines??

Some Toyota engines might be acceptable. A DOHC with a turbo?? They can be smooth and quiet, plus I've heard that getting 500 HP out of a Toyota straight six is possible.

This will be a LOT of work to perform. It most definitely won't be a bolt-in swap. You'll need to fabricate all the mounting hardware for the engine and tranny, make a custom drive shaft, customize the fuel delivery system, then there's the fun of removing all the MB engine wiring and putting the Toyota wiring into the Benz.

I'm the one putting a Z06 LS6 engine into my 560SEC and it, as I've stated, is a LOT of work. :-)
