So where do I start with this. This is a new one for me I've never seen a tachometer fail. I'm assuming since there is no ignition source (Distributor) the car uses a hall effect sensor on the front off the harmonic balancer or off the cam shaft. Do they fail? IF so is that typically the place to start? If not please give me some pointers as I know the AC will not work with a working source form the tack. Thanks
