Well I will be pulling the engine and transmission from the car tomorrow. Today was a unbolt and disconnect day. I reviewed the 126 service CD and it cleared a lot up. On a sad note I won't be rebuilding this engine since it has a connecting rod from #5 sticking out of the block. I guess it's off to the junkyard to find a donor engine. At least the shop at my school is available for me and since it is a diesel it fits into my lab time perfectly. Thanks for all your responses. I'll keep you posted as I go. I plan to completely rebuilt the new donor before it goes in, better to start fresh if I have it out already.
