That gasoline is also required for the car to GO...
There are safe and effective refrigerants to use instead of the hydrocarbons and blends....which by the way, also make your car serviceable by any local or perhaps more important... far away AC shop... meaning if you have AC troubles on a trip you are not up a creek by having some junk installed in your system.
