I'm off from school for a week and my wife has assigned me to stain a cedar fence he had installed last summer.

It's about 600 sq feet.

I was hoping to rent a sprayer, but the rental place told me they are set-up for latex (as are most other places) since the oil based requires too much equipment cleaning.

I called another place and said they would rent it if it was water based stain.

My immediate thought it too let the fence fade out, but wife says NO!!

Ack.
