Yes i would have expected the "roller"to be free to rotate but it is not,every one on the chain is facing the same way and they do not turn,but i really do not like the split.I agree on the brand and specified it when i ordered the parts,supplier tells me others in stock with same part # on the box do not have the holes or split Don
