Of course there is discrimination based on race. We have racial quotes at colleges, in fed business contracts a percentage must be given to races other than white- etc. The major reason race is asked on the census is in order to determine how much money destined for a group based on race will go to that location. One person gets money in a local and another does not based on what?- race. Discrimination goes both ways.
