In order to put a 5 spd in the '87 w124(om603) you need:
Custom driveshaft
Transmission cross member/support. I modified mine temporarily but plan on getting the right one soon. The 190 cross member
will not work!!
All the 5 spd parts from the 190.
Diesel vs gas flywheel is silly since they both are the same weight. maybe a couple pounds difference
