I am not sure what you meant...

I know there are two bumper shocks that attach to the bumper. Each shock has 4 bolts. Then there is also the part on the bumper that holds the chrome intact. I can see I believe 6 screws that hold down the piece I want to replace. Would it be easier to remove these 6 screws and slide off the old piece? or is more complicated than that? Please help!
