Well, I happen to think it's primarily fear-mongering and hysteria to me.
Fear that the boogey man is out to jack your credit is just silly! I'm spread out about as far as any individual can be, and I've never had one iota of this fraud thingy that is characterized as being widespread and mainstream.
It just doesn't happen from my experience. ?Pay an entity to protect me? I'm sorry, but that notion is just funny to me!
