-New thermostat
-Check belts and hoses for wear, cracking/bulging.
-Check fan clutch prior to disassembly to be sure it is functioning well and tight.
-Of course - Good coolant flush for the engine/block/radiator and proper MB coolant
-Good chance to clean excess oil and grime buildup and find those oil leaks
