You'll be fine if you add extra fuel to compensate
, it'll smoke a bit more but spool fine. the factory turbo's on 617's are quite a bit to small for the application which gives great off-idle boost so dropping a cylinder wont put you overkill, might be pretty close to what the engine actually needs.
