I am considering putting my turbo charged, intercooled, angled injector, 10mm MW IP, 616 with a 6 speed manual trans, into a 92 190e chassis.

I looked at the 190 this weekend and took some measurements. It would be very tight, and I would need to remove the stock oil filter housing, but it would fit. I think I could even keep the mechanical fan.

I have done some research on the 190e and haven’t found anything terribly wrong with the chassis. I am wondering if the rear diff and clutch pedal assembly from a 124 chassis will fit in the 201 chassis.

I am going for a high mileage, performance package. The car is smaller than I want, but the fuel savings will compensate for that.

Anything about the 201 that I should know about that would change my mind?
