The 722.118 is possibly the only transmission where it is more or less at the same level as the valve body - it is one of the few anyway that has the banjo bolt attachment on the edge of the transmission case which you need to loosen to drain the oil, whilst it is also the attachment for the dip stick / oil filler tube.

In the picture below it is the large bolt (without the banjo and filler tube sorry) on the top right hand side of the oil pan.
