oh, I have no doubt you could rebuild the motor, but the parts alone for the rebuild, assuming the crank is not damaged, and it does not need rods or a cam... likely in the 3000.00 range... the 240 is a non turbo motor, but the cylinders require either oversized pistons, or replacement liners installed by a machine shop and milled to the deck height, and bored and honed to the size of the pistons...
