hey. trying to troubleshoot problems starting. here is the easy question:

1) where the engine ground strap is on an '82 240D

my other question is about my gp situation. i have pencil plugs but they are wired with that squiggly copper wire. is that wrong? also, of the 4 gp's, I only have them wired with 3 insulators, and the copper wire touches itself on each connection.

2) what is the correct wire i should use, and way i should be connecting my pencil plugs?
