The first thing i would check since both functions have quit would be the speedo cable if it has one.some MB cars have electronic speedo. if it has a cable you will have to pull the gauge panel to get to the cable,some folks get the panel out by taking the lower dash panel out (right in front of your knees) working their hand up behind the gauge panel and pushing it out from behind.Unscrew the speedo cable,you should be able to do it by hand then see if you can turn the small square inner cable,if you can the cable is broken and Peach Parts is your source for a new one.The install is pretty straightforward if you have a 10mm socket and ujoint and extension to disconnect the lower end of the cable at the transmission.If its electronic i cant offer any suggestions.
