I was looking at my rack dampener bolt today and it looks like the bolt is up flush with the lock nut. I'm not sure of the geometry but I think the bolt is all the way in ? Will a new bolt's head be a distance from the lock nut ? My engine idles fairly smooth for now but I have a new rack dampener bolt and I'm thinking I'll need to put it in one of these days.
