Thanks for the information, I have seen repro lenses for sale so presumed that you could dismantle the unit, I have had a brief look and couldnt see how to take the lens out I did see an area where it looks like there were plastic posts on the lens which protruded through the frame and have then been melted to retain the lens, if its going to be a tricky job then I will probably stay with the worn chrome.

How do I conact the Classic Center you mention? I doubt if I will find a decent set of used seals, I have considered getting a sheet of neoprene or something simular and trying to make some if all else fails.
