I have a 40 Ford Tudor Sedan, largely disassembled since I discovered a cracked crank about 10 years ago, that was to be the recipient of the 617 from an 85TD that I took out of service about the same time. I'm in the process of putting the TD back on the road now, so no engine there, but even though I have the Flathead ready to go back together I still wonder about a diesel in the 1940. Actually thinking now that a NA 240 or 300 would be a better choice.
