I imagine if a tip breaks off I'll be in pretty deep poop, eh? Are we talking trashed pistons here? Damn, I really thought since all the talk about Monark injectors that their glowplugs would have been of similar quality/standing.

Anyway, maybe my injectors are a bit tired, but the change was pretty dramatic at the time of valve adjustment and I've been able to verify I screwed it up and went way too loose as a result of my methodology, so I'm betting that's it more than anything else in regards to my starting performance. Prior to the adjustment, I had started it @ -5F, no block heater. It cranked slow at that temp but took less than 10 seconds of cranking to catch and run on it's own. Today I'm getting that same performance @ 15F.
