The Republicans remind me of a guy I once worked with who could never quite understand the laws of Physics. His favorite saying was 'I refuse to accept that reality' and it became somewhat of a joke.

When he finally checked into rehab due to his Cocaine addiction we understood why he was having trouble accepting reality; he was not living in the real world and the rest of us were.
