Sporadic A/C blower outage
I realize this isn't specifically a diesel issue, so maybe the moderator might move it appropriately. Or fine if it stays put here.
My E300D (1999) has an A/C blower motor that has occasionally decided to take a 1-2 day vacation. I'm not sure if it is tied to cooler or wetter weather, but it may be.
In any event, the climate control fan will not be functional and then at times when I reach highway speed it will kick back on. Then it will be available for an extended period, like a week or two. Then back to misbehaving. The electronics appear to be OK, nothing amiss with the displays.
Seems like a sensor or relay flaking out rather than just maybe the blower motor?
