I have a Garrett in the car and a back up one from another OM603 engine that I have.

The two friends of mine that are mechanics both said that they do not rebuild Turbos - mainly because they have to warranty their work. They both said that they send them out so that they can make sure it is guaranteed.

I am tempted to try and use this kit:

But, I just want to know if other people have successfully rebuilt these and stopped oil leaks.
