At least your rock was in a usable state...
I've had to send back pallets of drywall because they f**ked up the banded edges by beating them into something, or broke off every corner by strapping them too tightly close to the ends.
Even had one company offer to discount the rock... told him I would lose money on the hanging and finishing even if he
gave me the drywall...
But, it is much easier to deal with when you are working on account and the material hasn't yet been paid for.
