I'm about to change some gaskets on my 300sd Turbo Diesel '82 and am wondering about the sealant to use. I want to change the following:

oil pan gasket
turbo drain pipe gasket
inhale/exhaust manifold gasket

i think i need a sealant for the first two but am no sure, any tips? i bought a tube of lactate 2 gasket sealant, non hardening.

I was also wondering how I should torque the nuts on the oil pan.
