Assuming the job was done correctly there has been threads on the nailing issue.

Some have needed a few 100 miles of driving before the Nailing goes away.

There has never been a good explanation of why it happens. In one of those threads I speculated that the Delivery Valve needs to reseat itself but that is just a guess.

If you pulled out the Delivery Valve Assembly. That is a cylindrical Barrel with a valve in the Center. The Valve is only lapped into one end of the cylindrical Barrel if the Valve goes into the wrong end it is going to cause a problem.

Concerning the above each Valve is lapped to a specific cylindrical Barrel. If the get swapped to another cylindrical barrel they are not going to seal.
